Tomorrow is Mother's Day. It's one of my favorite days of the year, because I get to celebrate the woman who raised me. She's a pretty tough one, my mom. She made it through a tumultuous childhood and rocky relationships and the trials of being a young mother and wife. She was the first fan of my writing, my first believer. And I wouldn't be who I am today without her. So I'm getting ready to leave the house, take her to get her very first pedicure and then we're off to a mother/daughter banquet at her church.
How about you? How are you celebrating your mom? How are YOU being celebrated?
